New Colour Concept for the Wegner Pendant: Classic Copenhagen Colours During the 2019 ”3 Days of Design” event in Copenhagen PANDUL launched the classic Wegner Pendant in a colour palette inspired by the beautiful classic Copenhagen colours known from all over the City as the colours on doors, windows, facades, benches and much more.Dark green and dark blue as the dominating choices for doors, windows and gates. Red as the old bricks or plastered facades, white like the window frames and warm grey as facades or facade decorations on brick walls. In addition we have made the hangers in shiny ”silver” or shiny 24 carat gold as a reference to the stainless steel or brass used on the doors and gates for handles etc. The Wegner rise & fall pendant is a true classic which has been in uninterrupted danish production, since it was displayed the very first time back in 1962 at the Master Cabinetmakers Fall Exhibition and it has been a part of the Pandul Collection since 1989.

24 carat gold… The Bordeaux-red Wegner pendant was introduced with a 24 carat gold plated hanger as an alternative to the standard silver coloured. This option became so popular that we decided to extend it to also include the white version of the Wegner pendant.

All Wegner lamps available in the new, warm grey colour The new, warm grey is now available for both “The Pendant” and all Opala pendants + table & floor lights. This colour will have white cord as standard.
